Walkable from most hotels located around Akita station. The restaurant is very spacious and the staff are very attentive. The price and portions are a good combination. The oyakodon was very filling and chicken was juicy.

We enjoyed our lunch sets, which were a bit expensive at ¥2,000/person, but well worth it in our view. The interior of the restaurant is also nicely appointed and spacious. We’re giving four stars, rather than five, because the service wasn’t up to par with the price of the food. Our server seemed disinterested and didn’t represent the restaurant all that well. Otherwise, a good experience and recommended for chicken lovers!

The English menu was incomplete with many items in the Japanese menu which we don’t understand missing. We ordered the chicken pot priced above 2000 yen, stated there serving enough for 2-3 pax. In the end the serving was just enough for 1 pax. The yakitori was also expensive. It’s strictly overpriced for the quality and serving size.

Oyakodon (¥1,000) was delicious and the hinaijidori tasted great and healthy. kiritanpo nabe (¥2,357) for 1 pax was too overpriced! Service was great, English menu is available.

It is too expensive. Chicken soup small bowl charge ¥2200. Meal is not fresh.

A specialist restaurant for the famous Akita "Hinai-Jidori" chicken. Pretty cozy restaurant, with slightly dimly-lit groovy environment, and private "compartment" style seating areas.
